John Berrien certificate and commission, 1786-1791.

This collection consists of a certificate of John Berrien's service in the American Revolution and his commission as Inspector for the Revenue for the Port of Savannah. It is dated November 22, 1786 and is signed by Lachlan McIntosh. The commission is dated March 6, 1792 and is signed by President George Washington and Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson.
